Welcome to our public consultation

Thank you for taking the time to visit this consultation website which provides information on the emerging proposals for the development of a Search and Rescue Training Centre (via a phased approach) at Faraday Business Park.

A Public Exhibition will take place at Fareham Innovation Centre (Merlin House, 4 Meteor Way, Lee-on-The-Solent, PO13 9FU) on Wednesday 12th July 2023 from 2.30pm-7.30pm. Members of the project team will be available during this time to answers any queries you may have.

Bristow Group is a leading global provider of innovative and sustainable vertical flight solutions.

Bristow provides commercial search and rescue (SAR) services in many countries across the world and public sector SAR services in the United Kingdom on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, such as that based at Lee-on-The-Solent. The company has been successful in securing further contracts to provide search and rescue training services and they are now seeking to develop a purpose-built facility for this.

We are keen to share our emerging proposals with the local community and invite you to provide any feedback that you may have using the online survey. Your comments will help to shape the planning application which we are preparing.
